(4WARN Weather) -- The past few weeks have not been quite so sunny for the southeast. Consistent upper air patterns have been causing frequent overcast skies and overall just very melancholy conditions for the Wiregrass.
Although we have been seeing some sunshine, primarily on the weekends, a bulk of our weekdays have been steadily cloudy and rainy.
Unfortunately this pattern will likely continue till about the end of March. Looking at the outlooks provided to us from the Climate Prediction Center shows above average chances for precipitation in the southeast. This outlook shows the next 6-10 days being a bit wetter than normal.
However, the pattern is predicted to continue even up to 14 days away.
This is a fair prediction considering the steady air flow from the Gulf of Mexico allowing the skies to have plentiful amounts of moisture to create persistent cloudy skies.
We should begin to see the sunshine become a bit more common as we ease our way into March, but until then, expect the next few weeks to be mostly cloudy for the primary weather condition.
