Climate Central says changes in the climate are making the Spring allergy season longer and more intense.
Part of the problem is the growing season has gotten longer and the time between when we see freezes has also increased.
Warming extends the growing season. Because the growing season has gotten longer, so has the amount of pollen released into the atmosphere. This has triggered an increase in allergies.
