Siesta Keys star Chloe Trautman says she has taken 'a step back' from filming after it became 'extremely toxic'
Chloe Trautman has spoken out amid rumors she was fired from Siesta Key.
The MTV star took to social media on Monday and addressed her absense after fans noticed she was missing from cast photos from a group trip to Palm Island in the Grenadines.
Writing on her Instagram stories, Chloe, 25, explained: 'I can not stand to see these lies spread anymore. I was not fired. I decided to take a step back from filming because it became extremely toxic.

'I am unwilling to put my journey and my happiness on the line for fame and money.'
She added, 'You will all have clarity when the show airs. Now please stop spreading lies,' she added.
An accompanying quote on the post reads 'Let people be hungry for you. Be unavailable from time to time, you're focusing on your s**t.'
Chloe finished up with another quote which read, 'Giving up is quitting something you love because of external feedback. Evolving is choosing something else because your energy has moved.'
Chloe was initially excited to get back to filming when season four was announced back in November.

'I'm so grateful to of started filming Season 4 of @siestakey,' she posted on social media. 'I can't wait for all of you to see the journey I'm on. I hope I make you all proud and if I inspire a few of you along the way - that would just be the cherry on top.'
Over the summer Chloe revealed she dropped 30 pounds in quarantine after a wake-up call during a recent ski trip to Aspen.
'We were skiing and I was so out of shape it, it bothered me so much. I wanted to ski, but I physically couldn't,' the reality star, 24, told Us Weekly. 'That's when I was like, "OK, this is not normal."
'Like, I want to be able to go down a mountain at least one time. It was hard for me to even, like, walk around with ski boots. I was like, this is not how it's supposed to be.

'So the biggest start was getting all the junk food out of my house and only having clean food at home. And when I'm out, I just choose. Are there wiser options on the menu?'
Now Chloe works out five to six times a week, and is in a better place physically and mentally.
'I'm just eating better, being more active and I'm happier. So that helps too.'
Describing transformation as a 'lifestyle change', Chloe revealed she had been receiving a lot of help from fellow Siesta Keys castmate Garrett Miller.

Chloe believes cutting ties with toxic friends has also benefited her healthier new life.
'I've shed a lot of negative people in my life,' she explained. 'I think that reflects on how I look too.'
Indeed, Chloe is no stranger to drama.
She did find herself embroiled in drama with castmate Alex Kompothecras, after learning he had cheated on his girlfriend Alyssa Salerno with Juliette Porter.

'I've have spoken to him once,' Chloe said. 'He doesn't seem like he's changing. He doesn't seem to be much different. … but I wish all wish the best for him.'
Things have improved for Alex and Alyssa now, however - the couple recently welcomed a baby girl.
