The BTS Army is showing up.
Following the news that the South Korean boy band donated $1 million alongside their agency, Big Hit Entertainment, to Black Lives Matter, fans of the group organized the #MatchAMillion initiative to match their favorite group’s donation – and they’re well over halfway there in just a day’s time.

“Show support by giving what you can. We can’t do everything, but everyone can do something. Big Fandom. Big Difference,” the BTS Army donation link reads.
The initiative allows fans to donate to specific organizations, or split between them all, including Black Lives Matter Global Network, Reclaim the Block, National Bail Out, Black Visions Collective, and Black LGBTQIA+ Migrant Project.
Fans are also tracking their individual donations on a shared document.
If you’d like to contribute, you can check out their donation effort right here.
